Brtl-fluiditi (pron. brutal fluidity) is a ready-to-wear collection that merges and morphs rigid structures seen in brutalist architecture with the elegant draping in Grecian sculpture. The collections colour palette is derived from the two forms of inspiration, paired with hints of neon orange due to its highly recognisable association with construction. To further translate brutalism into the collection, I applied a concrete slab as a stamp to create a textured fabric pattern. I was highly inspired to design a collection that explored juxtaposing materials and making methods, producing a line that combines fluidity and structure.
