RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

Creating art pieces within fashion engages with story and meaning, and for this project I have looked deeply into the form of the black swan. Black swans can be found in lots of forms of art performances that describe true passion, art, movement, and elegance. However, true black swan interpretations are based on the occurrence of rare events that cause extraordinary after-effects. Black swans were once considered rare and hard to find, and my collection aims to embody a rare and amazing ‘after-effect’. By combining unique materials and large-scale wire panels, I created a classic high profile fashion silhouette. This collection is the new era adaptation of the black swan.
