My collection 'Female Nipples are Dangerous'
explores the complexity and irony behind the role of a woman in society today. Challenging the censorship of the female form, my collection focuses on undermining society’s censoring of women’s nipples but not men’s. I took inspiration from feminist artist Del Kathryn Barton and Michaele Stark while referencing the rock and roll scene in the 70s, 80s and today, from bands like Måneskin, Blondie and the Sex Pistols, my collection took on a feeling of anarchy.
