RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

The collection reflects the cultural charm of traditional Chinese landscape painting and my ethical thinking on the sustainable development of fashion. I am interested in how to combine fashion with Chinese landscape painting elements as inspiration from an aesthetic point of view. I use irregular pleats, tucks, gathering and hand shirring techniques to show the elements of mountains, water and plants in painting. I hope that using recycled natural fabric to create new garments can play a positive appeal, arouse people's awareness of sustainability and environmental protection, so that each piece of fabric can have a second life.
