In this collection I explore the concept of “becoming” through the process of copper patina. Woven alongside white cotton and wool yarns, the copper changes colour as it ages, reflecting its environment and telling the story of all that has happened to it over time. Just like us, it is in a constant state of “becoming”, with our common history written onto its surface, and our stories ever continuing.
