Kay Liu

RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

It all started with the song “Rose Boy” by Jolin Tsai, a 15-year-old boy was bullied to death just because of his unusual behaviour classified as “girlish”. My design demonstrates my ideal story for people who are struggling and self-denying like the rose boy: that the hurt that thorns bring would bloom the strongest; prettiest rose.

“Never let anyone change who you are; Boy or girl, you can be whichever you want”
