Contingency is a ready-to-wear collection that intertwines the origins of my interest in fashion, deriving from my involvement in sports and pageantry as a child. The categories of sportswear and evening wear are subtly fused through their corresponding techniques and fabrications to evoke both tension and harmony. A sense of darkness subdues the collection to represent the anxieties prompted by coming-of-age.
