Jessica Dunt

RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

The 'Bloom and Grow' collection symbolises personal transformation throughout life, highlighting how we evolve from our younger selves and develop as we grow. I used floral and butterfly motifs to represent the journey of growth and blooming as a person. Nature plays a significant role in this collection, reflected in the Hapa Zome colours and the use of recycled natural materials. This collection shows my love of handcrafting with all the flower motifs sewn together by hand. The collection takes inspiration from bridal gowns while falling into the formal wear market.
