Bound Fluidity explores the duality of movement and restriction within the context of the inner dialogue and societal ideals. The fashion industry today often promotes conformity and perfectionism, this collection hopes to critique these expectations and associated feelings through hand sewing techniques, fabrication and silhouettes.

The use of leather, despite structured and rigid, creates a sense of movement through repetition of line and curved shapes. Paired with the Madame Grès pleating to create drape and fluidity, these two opposing fabrics encourage consideration of how materials that seem inherently limiting can create movement. Drawing from my personal experience, I hope this collection encourages introspection and the celebration of individualism.
