The timeless beauty of renaissance aesthetics become merged with contemporary societal perspectives to construct a new image of women. I aim to merge diametric extremes of maximal fabric manipulation and delicately feminine yet irregular layers of fabric and drape. Furthermore, by deconstructing traditional archetypes and the process of re-contextualisation, my collection celebrates femininity of the Victorian epoch alongside the Modern woman. Thus, introducing a feminine image that is unexpected, exciting yet utterly relevant.
