The collection, titled “The Tranquil Residue”, explores how everyday objects serve as residues of our lives. Inspired by the experience of moving house, I noticed how empty containers—glass bottles and jars once stripped of their labels and markings, evoke a deep sense of calm, offering a peaceful and almost meditative experience. These ubiquitous objects, while representing the absence of the people who once used them, simultaneously bear the traces of daily use, routines, and the relationships that have shaped my life. Ultimately, I hope the work can spark wonder about the auratic power embedded within these everyday objects.
