'Dolorous' (adjective); feeling or expressing great sorrow or distress.
Looking at the oddity of the Australian Gothic, my work develops a fashion identity to the genre. Utilising the tones of grief and isolation correlated to the rural media of Australian Gothic, I subverted the archetype of formal Victorian-era dress through loose fitting, earthy toned garbs that accumulates in a collection that traverses stagnant Australian ideals.
