A collection of textile embellishments inspired by my everyday surrounds.
Melbourne city sights and sounds journalled between destination points are reimagined through the playful exploration of the aesthetic and functional nature of textile objects to embellish a space.
The objects in this collection reference both historical and contemporary form, combining traditional weave techniques with material exploration, textile waste reuse and digital collage to bricolage my experience and invite haptic engagement.
