The name of my collection is ‘Symbiosis’, a story about the ecological destruction of water due to the release of nuclear sewage from Japan. I formed the flowing forms of water by destroying it at high temperatures with a heat gun and pulling organza by hand, reflecting the fluidity and resilience of the environment. I also use drastically contrasting colours and destroyed organza fibers to show the irreversible nature of the water ecosystem as it is polluted. Mapping the reality with this collection, I hope that the issue of marine ecology and environmental protection will be taken more seriously.
