RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

Threads of Identity is a personal exploration of my Chinese Indonesian heritage, expressed through the language of fashion. Growing up in a multicultural society shaped by both richness and division, I’ve always felt the weight and beauty of cultural duality. This collection brings together traditional Indonesian batik, elements of Chinese symbolism, and Western tailoring to reflect the complexity of my identity. Each piece tells a story of resilience, unity, and cultural pride. Through my designs, I hope to inspire connection, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate the strength found in embracing who we are.
