Harriet Macdonald

RMIT Bachelor of Textiles (Design)

My practice as a textile designer has been hugely influenced by the people and places that surround me. In particular, my family's sheep farm, which sparked my curiosity around wool fiber. I love to experiment with new ideas and designs that build my skills and knowledge. This year, trialing material innovations lead me to my wool and resin collection, which explores the use of 100% raw black and white wool from my family farm. By combining it with epoxy resin, I have produced a small collection of wool/resin artefacts.
