Modularized is my practice-led design project that explores how creative cutting techniques can inform a modular design process enabling wearer engagement and autonomy. Modularized aims to create garments that can transform and adapt, offering the wearer endless possibilities and iterations from one dress. The modularity of the outcomes is achieved by sampling, researching and combining subtraction-cutting, kinetic pattern making and once-piece pattern-cutting in recycled materials. Each piece is tested on the body to ensure modularity within each garment.
