Lily Gunby

My collection is called 'Meet Me By the Sea' and is inspired by the Australian Coastline, particularly the Great Ocean Road. After spending much of the pandemic away from home, I wanted to create a graduate collection that paid homage to my upbringing and the place that feels the most familiar to me. I drew inspiration from the textures, colours and shapes seen in the coast's rugged cliffs and vast landscape, exploring these elements to create a range that feels fun and playful. This resulted in a collection that feels feminine and fun and summarises my practice as a designer.
