My projects describe women who were bound by traditional ideologies during the feudal era, and the boning element of my works brings out the metaphor of female body symbols and the qualities of flexibility and strength. In terms of fabric and design, everything is a metaphor for the discomfort of dealing with this culture of injustice, and the feeling of powerlessness as if the feet were trapped. In the face of this feudal culture women are forced to show an uncanny connection between mourning and joy at the same time in this role.
