The ‘Metamorphosis’ collection explores the mid-transitory state. It considers the evolution of skin and the more immediate transfiguration of dress. Skin is the physical manifestation of ageing where ageing is the inevitable transformation. This long term form of metamorphosis is contrasted by the capacity of archetypes of dress to warp the common view of the individual through ‘Metamorphosis’ and alter perceptions.
