Amber Bradbury

RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

My work is a visual representation of the love and adornment of the body that is engrained in my Maltese culture and upbringing. This collection allows me to share my culture and the opulence that inspires me, Inspiring the fashion industry through designs created with detail. The ritual of adorning the body is central to this collection. Catholicism in my upbringing has given me an opportunity to create this collection, depicting excess, love, and care at its core. Reflecting on the celebration of life and death through my bringing, the techniques, and fabrics I utilise showcase my culture. My Launch designs speak to preserving traditional techniques that can often be lost through the decades.
