RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

My inspiration comes from my grandparents, who have been excluded from the fashion industry due to their age. I aim to explore how to age various materials, creating marks of time. Alternatively, I'm considering repurposing old garments. These silhouettes are all loose-fitting and gender-neutral, accommodating bodies of different sizes. I employ a mix of dyeing techniques, such as tea and rust dyeing. I've also utilised 3D printing to craft key-shaped accessories, symbolising keys that unlock memories due to their vintage feel. I hope that through my designs, more and more people will come to love the traces left by time.
