Holly Cooper

RMIT Bachelor of Textiles (Design)

Each sample in ‘the CAPSULE COLLECTION’ represents my future fabric collections for 2024-25. I have layered hand painting, printing, bonding, stitching and waste materials on cotton organdie around the themes of colour and the modular unit. I use improvisational and intuitive processes to hand produce limited edition fabrics and one-of-a-kind art canvases for creating textile pieces that one can enjoy and appreciate by wearing, using, or looking at. My underlying philosophy is to serve as a catalyst for change in the current consumer culture.
