RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

Maleface: Latin, Evildoer
(Fe)Maleface is my reimagining of the villain in order to respond to society through my own female identity. Subverting narratives of “personal feminine failings” to reflect the failings of society has created a villain character that is the epitome of female rage. Leathers, chains and hair have been used to harness strength and power in the collection, conveying the narrative of my practice.
