Loss Vegas explores greed, fame and obsession. The lines are blurred between glamour and disgust, where the muse begins to go to extremes to gain some form of notoriety. Big lips are in? My lips will be the biggest. Skinny is in? I will be the skinniest. Short shorts are in? My shorts will be the shortest. Fashion begins to distort, and the character becomes a demented mirror. Society is a flock of vultures, and there are those dying to be picked apart. This project aims to give a critical representation of how fame obsession affects the psyche through an authentic portrayal of extreme beauty.
