RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

This project draws inspiration from two cultures that have deeply influenced my upbringing: the
Yi ethnic culture and the Victorian era culture. The former boasts intricate craftsmanship,
reflecting strong cultural identity and resilience. The latter exudes independence and nobility in
women’s fashion. I integrate both cultures to emphasize the unique charm of women. The theme of East-meets-West encourages a reevaluation of female power, showcasing cultural and fashion diversity, highlighting the versatility of women who can be elegant and traditional or resilient and confident. This project celebrates and empowers women, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and express their strength.
