‘Killing Time’ is a ready-to-wear collection informed by my personal connection with time. The garments tell a story centred around a characterisation of myself, who is drawn to the influence of both angelic and demonic figures which represent this uneasy relationship controlling my everyday life. Made from second hand materials, the collection has an emphasis on silhouette. Each piece is able to be manipulated by the wearer through the use of wire, allowing the garments to lean into surrealistic elements when modified by the wearer, expressing their individual choices.
