RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

Most of my design ideas are based on my childhood experiences. I lived in the countryside with my grandparents before I was five years old. There was a big forest behind our ancestral house with different plants inside. But after a few years, the government rebuilt the forest into an attraction. This changed everything and only left the memory for me. From there, I began to think about the connection between humans and nature and hold the opinion that humans change nature a lot, and in doing so damage it. I did some dyeing and draping using natural fabric and nature dye in my design. Also I utilised a plant transfer technique in my designs. My purpose is to make people realise this problem and pay enough attention to it.
