'Pride' is a collection that aims to retell the story of my upbringing, retracing the steps of my past, examining the experiences of young people growing up within relatively conservative areas. Tensions of identity, sexuality, Catholicism, intimacy and hostility are the thematic focus of the collection; informing the silhouettes, archetypes and adornments.

Through this tacit expression, I build a parody of the rigid communities I grew up within, appropriating masculine and feminine forms and examining the emotional implications embedded within intimate cloth.
