The collection is inspired by the Garuda, a revered golden eagle figure and the national emblem of Indonesia. More than just a mythical bird, Garuda symbolises strength and courage. These values are explored through the rigid sculptural tops in the collection. The lower garments, inspired by the silhouettes of ways to wear a sarong, blend traditional batik with modern materials. This collection aims to express the values associated with Garuda while merging my traditional cultural heritage with modern high fashion, creating powerful and elegant pieces that honour both the past and the present.
