"Good Medicine Tastes Bitter" is a testament to the transformative power of childhood memories, cultural heritage, and sustainable fashion. Growing up among the scents of Chinese herbs, I witnessed their healing power. The bitter flavor of these healing herbs became intertwined with memories and the enduring wisdom inherent in my cultural heritage. Incorporating Chinese herbs into the natural dyeing process signifies a union of tradition, sustainability, and innovation. With simplified tailoring to reduce waste and screen-printed herbal prescriptions, each garment tells a story. My project invites wearers to reconnect with nature and honor ancient traditions.
