"Up there down here, nowhere near" is an autobiographical collection about growing up and feeling out of place in a binary world. It romanticizes despair and discomfort through deconstructed garments, where wool jersey and horsehair canvas reflect childhood memories and androgynous dressing. By freeing the garments from function, deconstruction transforms them into hyper-romanticized projections of my past consciousness. This collection is a love letter to myself, capturing my evolving practice and how I experience the world.
