‘Metamorphosis’ explores the evolution of the men’s suit. This collection is a deconstruction and reinvention of historical and contemporary design, I'm focusing on the fit and structure of the suit whilst also advocating for a slower fashion future. I retain the traditional tailoring techniques of suit makers and emphasise the craftsmanship of each piece within the collection, promoting the idea of quality over quantity. In this collection I have incorporated numerous bustles into each look to create striking visual interest, emphasising that men's suits are far from being a dull fashion item.
