"Hoppípolla" is a song that captures a sense of freedom, simple and pure moments, and the joy of jumping into puddles like a child.
My childhood memories of living by the seaside with my family feel just like that—full of happiness and refreshment, like the hoppípolla. With my family around and carefree life, I think of those times as the little puddles that remain after the rain. Now, as an adult, I can no longer be as carefree; time feels like a heavy rain, and those little puddles are the precious memories I hold dear. Through my work, I want to convey that while these memories are blurred and unreachable, they bring a quiet, profound happiness, like a gentle mist that lingers around me.
