My collection is centred around swimwear, I have created a swim and resort collection that is inspired by different swimwear styles throughout history. Taking inspiration from the 18th century, 1940's, 80's and the 2000's. These historical references are displayed within a contemporary context. This collection is a commercial collection which is designed to highlight the female form and celebrate it. Contrasting against the way it has been hidden throughout history when it came to swimwear. My collection also has a strong sustainability focus using natural fibres and econyl fabric ensuring my personal values are included in the making of the collection.
