Homecoming is a celebration of the natural environment surrounding my childhood home. Reflecting on the COVID-19 pandemic I wanted to create a collection that embraces strength, resilience and peace and found myself noticing all these qualities in native Victorian bushland. These garments interact with foliage from the River Red Gum and black wattle trees intimately as I use them to create the prints spanning the three looks. Utilising the aesthetics of these trees not only conveys their significance in the native landscape, but also in my own personal life as I return to the peace of home.
