RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

Betweenhood is a personal reflection on the transition from childhood to adulthood. It explores the childlike perception of adulthood that informs personal fears about the future and contrasts it with fond memories and qualities of the past that make it difficult to move forward. The aim of Betweenhood is to create an intersection where those who want to become a grown up but do not want to completely grow up can reside - a playful adulthood. A collection made entirely of up-cycled obsolete school uniforms, re-inventing the uniform archetype to exist and function in the next stage of life.
