My fashion collection “Miss Warrior” reflects female oppression and gender discrimination by creating a utopian female empire where women are free from constrictive stereotypes and condemnation engendered by patriarchy. It aims to empower women from a misogynistic society to embrace individualism, demonstrated through a latitude of images combining different femininities. The idea is expressed via the contrast and balance between soft and hard materials. Visualised through Greek goddesses, loose-wrapped tulle clothing merged with geometrical shapes and armour elements emphasise a strong and feminine feeling. Elegance by nature, strength by nurture. Women are warriors that will fight for equality and justice by themselves.
