‘In Light Of’ woven collection shows a selection of sculptural pieces made of fishing line, synthetic monofilament, cellophane, and mohair, for installation. My intuitive approach to weaving investigates the relationship among surface qualities, colour, contrast, and light. The collection captures a delicateness within the plasticky and sculptural craziness through synthetic, shiny materials and translucencies of the silhouettes. I am interested in play on the visual dynamic of the woven objects through a vibrant interaction of colour, the nuance of translucency and the changing environment. ‘In Light Of’ envisages an exuberant material and form exploration through artistic woven design.
