Elegance of an Oyster

I am the Oyster due to the shell's unique shape and the peals' inside colour. Oysters as considered a delicacy, something special that we indulge in. I wanted to highlight this and make my collection delicate, lightweight, and feminine bringing in a mermaid aspect.
I enjoy working with fine details, pleating, embroidery and manipulating the fabric to create a range of textures and patterns. I aim to show the resemblance of the unique oyster shape through pleating, and the use of ivory pearl finished materials, as well as using design details that touch on design features of mermaids and under the sea to keep the collection delicate and feminine.
