'Intimate Entropy’ is a collection that explores various forms of decay. Entropy is a constant in our universe but, as humans we have an unhealthy relationship with the natural state of decay in our lives. This collection welcomes decay and endeavours to appreciate the aesthetics of all that will fall apart in time. The primary way that this is articulated is by enhancing or accelerating the dilapidation and oxidisation of materials and celebrating the patina that is produced. Through appreciating entropy, we can redefine the value we place on broken or dilapidated objects that wear the scars of time.
