RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

My collection titled Soften Up, focuses on body positivity and, more specifically moving away from the commercially advertised ‘body type’ and creating new silhouettes for fashion. The collection takes on an almost loungewear aesthetic and is designed to offer comfort and adjustable fitting for all wearers aimed at a young adult audience to wear at home, and some garments to be worn as basics on a casual day outing. Each look can be switched around, layered and styled together, as the collection is a range of comfy wearables that not only extends from the body but accentuates it.
