Loredana Amelia Bufalino

RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

''Evolve'' explores fabric manipulation techniques through the interaction between heat and fabric. I have always been intrigued to explore processes that create unique iterations and textures.
My outcomes explored the ideas surrounding heat and my discoveries of how certain fabrics react to this natural element. Through a playful and explorative design and making method, I aim to create a series of outcomes that take viewers along a garment journey reworked in three different ways, which include the garment surface, ideas of burning, layering and exposure.
