This project explores how, through the application of patience and enjoyment, ubiquitous, unwanted textiles become a rich source of raw material. Experimenting with placement, scrap types, and stitching, I test how these factors influence behaviour, durability and appearance. Each garment extends my swatch development, aiming to build textiles in the form of the garment, leaning into texture and repetitive patterns to enhance both durability and aesthetic longevity. This is not a collection of clothes but a collection of linked ideas and techniques, and a reflection on how playfulness guides my process.
