RMIT Bachelor of Fashion (Design)

Ambroccio Della Memoria explores intimacy and the capturing of memories. This collection merges familial ties, interpersonal impressions, and personal moments drawn from my lived experience. The hand-dyed fabrics reflect the act of wearing clothes and the connection between garments and self. I incorporated UV-reactive dye with a floral motif inspired by furniture from my late great-grandmother’s house. Additionally, I collaborated with my grandmother, who knitted floral accessories to echo the garment designs, celebrating the community of practice that has shaped my approach to design.
