My collection ‘Cocoon’ explores female body image ideals and the male gaze and how these notions can be challenged through fashion. Blurring the lines between female and male clothing through exploring imperfections and garment proportions I have developed a collection that seeks to challenge sexualised garments and play on concealing the body. Exploring the aesthetics of body diversities, I hope to create a wider view that all body types are normal and beautiful.
