RMIT Bachelor of Textiles (Design)

‘Within, reaching out’ explores the role memory plays in the creation of meaningful textiles. Working with photography, I created a range of imagery that seeks to evoke an emotional response in the wearer. The images, lacking specificity, allow for the particular and unique projection of each viewer’s own memories and associations onto the works. Through an interplay of knitting and digital print these images are incorporated into the garments, encouraging a more significant and durable connection to our clothing.
